Enjoy the Norfolk Broads

South Walsham is an excellent base within a conservation area at the centre of The Norfolk Broads.

The village is home to The Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, which comprises of 180 acres of beautiful ancient woodland, water gardens and a private broad. A free entry ticket is included for guests staying in the Barn.

It is a superb location for ornithologists and walkers with its many nature trails, conservation areas and reserves. Within the Village there are two private Fishing Lakes, open to the public.

The historic city of Norwich offers a wide variety of interest from its ancient castle and cathedral, to its excellent shopping facilities and its thriving riverside nightlife. The Barn is situated in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, a haven for those who enjoy boating and the beauty of the waterways.

The east coast offers lovely sandy beaches, including the lively resort of Great Yarmouth, and the quieter beaches at Winterton - all within easy reach. The area has numerous Golf Courses, including the Championship Course at the Marriot Sprowston Manor Hotel.
